Peer Review Guidelines

All the manuscripts submitted to the journal are examined for text similarities among the already published texts (“Antiplagiarism” software) and go through two-level peer review (the editorial board – external peer review and editorial team of the journal “Veterinary Science Today” – internal peer review).

The editorial board conducts confidential peer review of the manuscripts (“blind” peer review).  Names of reviewers are not disclosed.

The paper is published only in case of a positive peer review.

The papers rejected after the peer review, not related to the core activities, and recommended for corrections are not sent back to the authors, the authors receive only peer reviews.

The already corrected manuscripts are again reviewed by the editorial board and in case the author meets recommendations of the peer reviewer, the paper goes to press.

The editorial board reserves the right to edit the papers, to shorten or correct them.
